ok...i know it seems like i am starting a recipe blog but
i had to share this yummy granola with you.
i love to put it over vanilla yogurt with real maple syrup.
or just a bowl with milk.
i can it eat it 3 times a day.
4 c oats 3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c coconut 1/2 c sliced almonds
1/2 c pecans or walnuts coarsely chopped
mix all together really well in a large bowl; set aside.
1/4 c water 1/4 c vegetable or olive oil
1/4 c honey 1/4 c peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
In a saucepan, stir together water, honey, oil, and peanut butter. bring to a boil. remove from heat; add vanilla and stir mixture into oats mixture. spread on large greased baking sheet. bake at 325 for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. makes about 2 lbs. of yummy goodness!
